Context
Initiated in collaboration with Rome Capital, the Atlas Project has created a digital map of public buildings, integrating structural, documentary and maintenance information. The heritage has been surveyed, catalogued and made accessible through an intuitive digital platform, facilitating maintenance and enhancement and ensuring compliance with the latest energy and safety regulations.
Challenge
- Size and variety of heritage: about 90k/100k assets divided into 70k buildings, 20k roads and urban areas, 10k green and building areas.
- Absence of a systematic approach to digitisation in previous years.
- Multiplicity of poorly integrated information systems and partial misalignment of databases (up to the assumed 30%).
